Spiral cleaning idler (also known as self-cleaning idler) is a core component of belt conveyors, specially designed to solve the problems of material adhesion, accumulation and belt deviation during transportation. With a spiral structure on the roller surface (customizable with rubber coating or welding form), it can efficiently strip and remove sticky materials such as wet coal, clay and ore powder adhering to the belt surface during operation. Meanwhile, the bidirectional spiral guiding force automatically corrects belt deviation, avoiding equipment wear, belt tearing and shutdown failures caused by material accumulation.
The idler is processed with high-strength seamless steel pipe, and the bearing housing is equipped with a labyrinth seal structure with excellent waterproof and dustproof performance, suitable for harsh working conditions with high humidity and dust such as coal mines, power plants, cement plants and ports. Its self-cleaning feature can significantly reduce manual cleaning frequency, lower equipment maintenance costs, and extend the overall service life of the conveyor belt and idlers, making it a key component to improve the stability and operation efficiency of the conveying system.
